About The Sheets
The Sheets is Mossva's hero set, made from eucalyptus lyocell, a fibre that's naturally breathable and moisture wicking, so heat and damp move away from the body rather than sitting against the skin through the night. The set is OEKO-TEX certified and FSC sourced, and comes in Double, King, and Super King.

Method. Town and city figures use the local authority a postcode falls within, matched against a curated list of around 28 larger English towns and cities; anywhere else falls back to its wider England region (a population-weighted average of the towns within it). The Sleep Disruption Index blends two measures: sleep medication (hypnotics, BNF 4.1.1) prescribing per 1,000 registered patients, and average night-time low temperature. The menopause lens swaps the first measure for HRT (BNF 6.4.1) prescribing per 1,000 women aged 45 to 59, keeping the same temperature pillar and the same 66/34 weighting.
Why 66/34. The original build weighted treatment, search interest, and temperature at 47/29/24. With search interest currently unavailable at the required granularity, those two remaining weights are rescaled to sum to 100%, preserving their original ratio to one another (47:24 becomes 66:34). Search interest is still shown further up the page, as a single national comparison across the four UK nations, since that's genuinely all the granularity Google Trends offers for the UK, it just can't move a per-town score, since it's identical for every English result.
What the prescribing components measure, and don't. Both prescribing figures reflect how often a medication is prescribed in an area relative to population, not a direct measure of symptom severity. Prescribing rates are shaped by GP practice habits, appointment availability, and local awareness alongside underlying need, so a lower rate in a given area shouldn't be read as "less disrupted sleep" without that caveat; it may equally reflect under-treatment.
Where figures are estimated rather than directly sourced. Both prescribing pillars are directly sourced for every one of the 28 towns, with no estimation. Temperature is directly sourced for 12 of the 28; the rest use the nearest comparable weather station within the same county or coastal setting, flagged individually in the page's source code.
