Warmth builds under the duvet
A duvet is designed to hold warmth. On a warm night, or if you run hot, the cover is where that warmth meets your skin.
Cotton covers absorb moisture and hold it, so the inside of the duvet turns warm and clammy through the night. Dense weaves and synthetic blends trap more heat still.
